The waveform you will display is described by the following formula: 5 + 0.1sin(10000πt) [V]. Notice that the waveform is a sinusoid with a 5V “DC offset.” As you will soon see, to properly display the waveform will require us to utilize the AC and DC coupling features of the oscilloscope.
